Starting Small but with a plan, We opened in 2005
Coastal Cooking Oils started small and opened in May 2005 as a Family-Owned Sole Proprietor to begin a fun and exciting journey in the Cooking Oil Industry.
At first, we supplied various edible cooking oils to the Catering industry of Port Elizabeth, Despatch and Uitenhage areas but quickly realised that there was a much larger market than originally anticipated.
Staying True to our Original Goals
We soon expanded to a Used Cooking Oil Collection Center
After careful consideration and tactical thinking, Coastal Cooking Oils then incorporated the recycling of used cooking oils to broaden the target market of the company. This required a much larger premises and thus we moved our Head Office to Erf 198 Armourplate Road, Struandale, Port Elizabeth where we do all the dirty work, so you don't have to.
Now we are able to collect used cooking oil from and supply Canola and Sunflower cooking oil to the entire Eastern Cape province.
